Effective date: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kodaic, LLC (“Kodaic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use DropBridge, our Android TV application for transferring files and links between devices on the same local network.
DropBridge is local by design. Files and links transferred through DropBridge are not uploaded to Kodaic servers.
This Privacy Policy applies to the DropBridge Android TV application and the local web pages it provides to devices connected to the same network.
DropBridge does not require a Kodaic account and does not contain advertising or third-party analytics.
This policy does not apply to third-party applications, websites, or services that you open through a link transferred using DropBridge.
DropBridge handles only the files and links you deliberately choose to send or receive.
These files and links are transferred directly between devices on your local network. Their contents are not uploaded to or stored on Kodaic servers.
DropBridge may store the following information locally on your Android TV:
File names and file types
Transfer direction and progress
Transfer date and time
Local file paths
Recent transfer history
Daily free-transfer usage
Language and port preferences
Kodaic does not receive this locally stored information.
DropBridge reads the TV’s local IP address and uses a local network port to create its QR code and LAN transfer page.
This information is displayed locally to help another device connect to the TV. Kodaic does not receive or store your local IP address or selected port.
DropBridge uses RevenueCat and Google Play to provide and verify DropBridge Pro purchases.
These services may process:
An anonymous RevenueCat App User ID
Purchase history
Purchased product information
Transaction status
DropBridge Pro entitlement status
Kodaic does not receive your complete payment card, bank account, or Google account credentials.
RevenueCat’s practices are described in the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. Google’s practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, including your email address, message, and any attachments.
Please avoid sending private file contents or other sensitive information unless it is necessary to resolve your support request.
Information handled by DropBridge is used to:
Send and receive selected files and links over your local network
Display transfer progress and recent items
Enforce the daily free-transfer limit
Save received files to the Downloads/DropBridge folder
Provide, verify, and restore DropBridge Pro access
Respond to support and privacy requests
Prevent abuse and maintain application security
Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use personal information for advertising.
We do not sell personal information.
Files and links are made available to devices that connect to the DropBridge LAN page.
Anyone who has access to the QR code or LAN address and is connected to the same network may be able to access that page. Only use DropBridge on a network you trust.
We use the following service providers:
RevenueCat, for purchase and entitlement management
Google Play, for payment and purchase processing
These providers process information on our behalf or as independent service providers according to their respective privacy policies.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request
Protect the rights and safety of Kodaic, our users, or others
Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
Enforce applicable agreements
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of company assets. Where required, we will provide notice and apply appropriate legal safeguards.
DropBridge is intended for use on trusted private networks.
File and link transfers occur through the LAN service running directly on your Android TV. Transfer contents are not routed through Kodaic infrastructure.
DropBridge currently uses local HTTP for LAN transfers. Local transfer traffic is not end-to-end encrypted by DropBridge. Other people or devices with access to the same network may be able to observe traffic or access the LAN page.
To reduce this risk:
Use DropBridge only on a network you trust
Do not publicly share the QR code or LAN address
Avoid transferring highly sensitive files over an untrusted network
Close DropBridge when transfers are complete
Purchase communications handled by RevenueCat and Google Play use their protected network services.
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Received files are copied to the TV’s Downloads/DropBridge folder.
They remain there until you delete them using the TV’s file-management tools. Clearing DropBridge’s transfer history does not delete files already saved in the Downloads folder.
Files and links shared from the TV are available for one successful download or open.
After a successful download, DropBridge removes the shared item and its temporary app copy. The original file selected on the TV is not deleted. The receiving device may retain its downloaded copy.
Transfer history, preferences, and daily usage information remain on the TV until you:
Clear the transfer history in DropBridge
Clear DropBridge’s application data through Android settings
Uninstall DropBridge
RevenueCat, Google Play, and Kodaic may retain purchase and entitlement records as necessary to:
Provide lifetime access
Restore previous purchases
Prevent fraud
Maintain financial records
Resolve disputes
Comply with legal obligations
Their respective retention policies also apply.
Support and privacy correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations.
You control which files and links are selected for transfer.
You may:
Clear received and sent transfer history from DropBridge settings
Delete saved files from the Downloads/DropBridge folder
Clear all locally stored app data through Android settings
Uninstall DropBridge
Continue using the free plan without making a purchase
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information controlled by Kodaic
DropBridge does not use Kodaic user accounts. We may therefore need additional information to locate and verify a purchase or support record before processing a request.
We may retain information when required by law or when an applicable legal exception permits retention.
DropBridge is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at admin@kodaic.biz.
Kodaic, LLC is based in the United States.
Purchase or support information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Kodaic or its service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.
Where required, we use legally recognized safeguards for international data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to DropBridge, our service providers, or applicable legal requirements.
When the policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
